Live Worship

To worship God is to give him our love, reverence, service and devotion. The Lord commanded Moses: “Worship God, for him only you will serve” (Deuteronomy 6:13). He has also commanded: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength; and in the name of Jesus Christ you shall serve him” (Matthew 22:37). In addition to demonstrating our love for God and commitment to Him, worshiping Him gives strength to obey His commandments. Through worship we grow in knowledge and faithfulness. If we put any person or thing above the love of God, we are worshiping that person or thing. This is called idolatry.
